This collaboration was an immense honor and a thrilling opportunity to work alongside such a visionary artist on his stunning interpretation of one of the most timeless operas in history.

Renowned filmmaker and stage director Carlos Saura envisioned a groundbreaking reinterpretation of Don Giovanni—one that seamlessly fused classical art with cutting-edge technology to create a fully immersive operatic experience. To bring this bold vision to life, NewMedia Creative Technology Studio was entrusted with designing and implementing innovative projections and dynamic screen systems that would enhance the drama, depth, and visual storytelling of this timeless masterpiece.
From the very first note, audiences were immersed in a visually stunning world, where digital scenography elevated Mozart’s iconic score while honoring the opera’s rich tradition. The projection design played a central role in this transformation, supporting the narrative with modern visual language while never overshadowing the performers or the music.
This unique collaboration with Carlos Saura marked a pivotal moment in the fusion of live performance and digital media—a true testament to how technology can respectfully reinterpret the classics and make them resonate with new generations.
