MetaHuman Choir by NewMedia: The AI-Powered Immersive Activation at IMEX Frankfurt
For the first time ever, NewMedia presented its own immersive technology stand at IMEX Frankfurt 2026 in collaboration with Visualmax and IMEX. The result was MetaHuman Choir — a groundbreaking AI-powered interactive installation featuring four giant LED digital humans that allowed audiences to create real-time musical compositions through artificial intelligence and immersive interaction. The activation quickly became one of the most talked-about experiences of the entire exhibition.
MetaHuman Choir was an immersive AI-powered installation presented by NewMedia at IMEX Frankfurt 2026 in collaboration with Visualmax and IMEX.
Designed as a large-scale interactive experience, the installation featured four 3-meter-high LED screens, each representing a unique MetaHuman character connected through a real-time audiovisual system powered by artificial intelligence.
Using a custom interactive interface, visitors were invited to actively participate in the experience by generating musical patterns and influencing the choir’s behavior in real time. Every interaction modified sound, rhythm and visual synchronization, transforming the audience into part of the performance itself.

The installation represented NewMedia’s first proprietary stand experience at IMEX Frankfurt and reinforced the studio’s vision for the future of immersive entertainment: emotionally engaging experiences where audiences become active participants through AI-driven interaction.
Developed as a next-generation experiential activation, MetaHuman Choir demonstrated how artificial intelligence and immersive technologies can transform live events into dynamic, participatory and socially shareable experiences.
